On 24 September 2025, news-polygraph was represented on stage at the MediaTech Hub Conference in Potsdam-Babelsberg by our Lead Business Development, Konstanze Neumann. As part of the panel “TrustTech: The Engine for the Future of Media”, she joined Laura Möller (K.I.E.Z.) and Tim Polzehl (Gretchen AI) to discuss how technology can help strengthen trust in media – and what responsibility media organisations carry in this process.

The “Trust & Technology” track, presented by the Cluster ICT, Media and Creative Industries of the Brandenburg Economic Development Agency, addressed a key question: artificial intelligence is transforming the media sector, but it must not remain a black box. Transparency, diversity, and sovereign infrastructures are essential to building trustworthy AI solutions that can be meaningfully embedded in practice.

Konstanze Neumann contributed the news-polygraph perspective: how can AI-powered verification tools for text, image, and video be designed to support journalists effectively – without undermining their editorial responsibility? Alongside her fellow panellists, she highlighted concrete TrustTech solutions built on explainable AI, secure infrastructure, and clear interfaces between humans and machines.

The panellists agreed: only if media organisations assume responsibility and actively shape technological innovation can disinformation be tackled effectively and trust in media be reinforced in the long term.

We are proud that news-polygraph was part of this important discussion at the MediaTech Hub Conference 2025 – Germany’s leading event for media technologies. And there was no better place for it than Studio Babelsberg, a historic hub where creativity and technology have come together for over 100 years.
